Motivation

Being in the industry for sometime now, I've seen and heard many reasons for getting in shape. The reason that seems to work the best is, "I'm getting into shape for myself." Not because you want to fit into some jeans, or you are in a wedding or any other reason other than doing it for yourself.

When you do something for the most important person in your life, things don't get in the way. We all have kids, spouses, jobs, bills, habits; you name them, everyone has them. The one who is able to reach a goal is the one who sets out to do it for themselves and withstands all of the challenges thrown at them.

When you decide to make a change, those around you will support you in the beginning. As you continue to go forward with your transformation, those around you start to joke about it, then the jokes become attitudes, attitudes become arguments, and now you are trying to justify why you are doing you.

Remember you are the most important person in your life. Treat yourself like it.
